Hi there 👋
We've made an important update to how prices are displayed on variations.
A new column showing the customer price inclusive of GST has been added, and the corresponding printed documents have been simplified for better clarity.
This change provides greater pricing transparency for your customers. By displaying the final price including GST directly on the variation document, you reduce potential confusion and ensure your clients have a clear understanding of the costs, leading to a smoother approval process.
No action is needed from you. This update has been automatically applied. You will find the new column and updated print format the next time you create or view a variation.
This enhancement was part of the June 2025 G.J. Software release. For more details, you can view the full release notes here.
This feature is now available to all G.J. Software users in Australia and New Zealand.
Hey there,
G.J. Software has key improvements! 🙌 We've focused on boosting your productivity and data accuracy:
We've introduced new features to improve resource allocation and communication across projects:
Key points to note:
These enhancements streamline resource management, reduce conflicts, and improve communication between team members working on different aspects of projects.
We've rolled out several improvements to our Vendor Reports, offering greater flexibility and control over the information shared:
These updates allow for more tailored and relevant Vendor Reports, improving communication efficiency while maintaining appropriate levels of information sharing across your supply chain.
We've introduced a new feature to address a common issue and improve document handling:
This update was implemented in response to instances where sales and variation quotation previews without quote numbers were being sent to clients, causing confusion and discrepancies between actual printed quotes. The watermark clearly distinguishes preview documents from final versions, reducing the risk of miscommunication and reinforcing proper document management practices within your organisation.
We've added a simple yet effective feature to improve variation/change order tracking in Job estimates:
This enhancement provides at-a-glance information about the status of each item in your Job estimates, streamlining the review process and reducing the potential for oversight. By clearly marking confirmed variations, you can more efficiently manage changes and maintain accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
We've introduced a feature to give you more control over your communication with suppliers and creditors:
This new option allows you to fine-tune which contacts receive Job order emails, streamlining your procurement process and reducing unnecessary communications. By selectively excluding certain contacts from email distribution, you can ensure that Job orders are sent only to the most relevant recipients, improving efficiency whilst maintaining comprehensive records.
We've enhanced the visual appeal of House and Land packages with a new feature:
By incorporating internal images, you can provide potential buyers with a more detailed view of the home's layout and features. This enhancement helps create a more immersive browsing experience, potentially increasing interest and engagement with your House and Land packages.
We've made several updates to our reporting features to help you focus on current, relevant information:
These updates streamline your reporting process, making it easier to concentrate on ongoing work and active projects. By reducing clutter from completed or non-proceeding jobs and tasks, you can more efficiently manage your current workload and resource allocation.
We've introduced a new capability to improve the management of Cost Centre Order (CCO) tasks in schedules:
This feature is particularly useful when a subcontractor needs to return to a site multiple times to complete work covered by a single job order. By allowing task cloning, you can now more accurately represent the actual work schedule while maintaining the link to the original job order.
